Sunday morning we woke up and we made breakfast for Samuel Lauryn and Kyra. Then we decided to go walk up to the school so sam could ride his bike. Well Brent and I were in the back yard getting the wagon out so pull Kyra in it. When I heard sam SCREAMING at the top of his lungs. At this time he had rode his bike out to the front to wait for us. Not know the stupid mut next door had gotten out again. It jumped on him and bit him on the back TWICE. Now we are talking Big German Shepard. BIGGER THAN SAM. This poor little thing scared out of his mind because this big dog wouldn't get away from him. Well Brent and I dropped what we were doing and ran out front I was yelling Call the cops Im done with this dog. I was hysterical at this point and the neighbor lady came out freaking out cause the stupid dog snuck out through the front door. She felt horrible I was crying she was crying. Then something in me hugged her I dont know why I think it was because I was so mad that I wanted to punch her lights out for having such an aggresive dog. But No I hugged her instead. So I took sam inside to clean it up and access the bite. Thank God it didnt break the sking deep. dont get me wrong it broke the skin. Then the ladies husband came over saying " I heard my dog bit your son." I yelled at him "YES TWICE THERE ARE TWO BITE MARKS HERE". He said "Im so sorry the dog will be gone in a week, please give me a week to get rid of him. The dog was from one the of their females litter and he didnt even want the Damn thing." So I calmed Sam and my self down and Brent was outside talking to the man. So we said we would give him a week to get rid of the dog.
(We have had problems with this dog before and the cops told her if they have to come out again they would give her a sitation. Well the dog has gotten out a few more times since then. He cornered Brian and hs friend Whyatt.) So after the guy left We went to the school as planned and got around the corner and took lots of pictures of sams back. We gotto the school and played for a little while and I ran home to get the truck because it started raining so Itook brents bike. The lady of the dog saw me and asked if she could talk to me so I went over there still in my yard I walked to the fence not even all the way up to it and here comes the dog. Scared me. So the lady proceeded to tell me that her husband doesnt take care of the dogs and she loves the dog so very much. She has about 4 full grown German Shepards the one that bit Sam was a year old. You know when she said that she loves the dog I have no doubt. She asked me if the cops were coming and I said no your husband has a week to get rid of it. Thats when she spilled out and said Your husband helps you with your dogs mine doesnot he is not attached like I am. I said regardless your dog cant be getting out and attacking kids like that. So I walked away and headed back up to the school to get everyone else. That was it for Sunday with the dog. Well except Sam went to sleep that night and he was in our bed watching cartoons I was getting ready to put him in his bed when he jumped bad and woke up crying. He had a reacurring dream of the day events. This morning I woke up and went to the zumba class at the church and worked my butt off and started thinking, something wasnt sitting right with me at all about the dog and the neighbors getting rid of it. So I talked to my Mom, Brent, and I also to Joy and Roy Tillery. Thats my sister Lynsey's In-Laws. Cause I was picking up the kids. We talked about going to the police station out here in enoch. So I did. Now its on record and the Cheif of police and the head lady at animal control decided to Quarentine the dog for 10 days and access the situation. I dont know if they have come to get the dog yet but after I talked to them I felt alot better. They took pictures of Samuel and I wrote down my Statement. They told me if Ihave anymore problems that dog biting is a seroius emergency exspecially for this dog or dogs that I could call 911 just to get someone out there quickly. I also learned that Dog Bites are Mandetory to report. I didnt know that so I am glad I went. They were very nice. It also turns out that the lady from animal control checked her voice mail this morning and had a complaint over the 4th of July weekend about the same Damn dogs. So I dont feel sorry one bit. I hate to see the dog put down if it comes too it but then on the other hand I dont because you dont mess with my kid and get away with it.. SO If you ever come across this kind of situation Please call animal control. Sam is doing fine We have seen no signs of infection. Of coarse im caking him with antibiotic cream so it looks good I will post a picture soon. It doesnt look bad but it is still tender and Sam is being tough about it.
